This week our senior pupils have been sitting Prelims in the Assembly Hall and elsewhere in the school, and there is a very purposeful atmosphere throughout the building. The Prelims will conclude on Monday. If your son/daughter has missed a Prelim due to absence, these will be re-scheduled in arrangement with the Curricular Leader of the subject Faculty and the S5/6 Year Head, Mr Campbell.
Over the past week, we have seen improvements overall in pupil attendance and as I said in last week’s update, good attendance is crucial to enable pupils to make progress in learning. Pupils are very well supported in school by teachers, our Pupil Support Team and, if necessary, by support staff and professionals from external agencies. Let us know if we can help in any way in this regard. Please continue to let us know the reason for your child’s absence if, for any reason, they are unable to attend school.
If you have any concerns or wish to discuss your child’s learning or health and wellbeing, please contact the appropriate Year Head. You are respectfully reminded that due to the current circumstances, access for parents and carers will be restricted to maintain the safety of everyone and will be by appointment/invitation only.
