Pupils continue to comply very well with health and safety advice. We remind everyone to bring a face covering to school each day and maintain good hygiene by regularly washing re-usable face coverings and using hand sanitiser when entering the building and each classroom.
All pupils have been offered and are encouraged to undertake lateral flow tests twice weekly. These were issued this week. A reminder that parental consent must be given if your child is under 16. There will be a further opportunity to collect lateral flow tests in May.
I attach an update letter from Police Scotland which schools have been asked to share with our parent body. The letter urges parents to have discussions with their child/young person regarding travelling to Portobello for the purpose of taking part in anti-social behaviour.
It was lovely to meet some new parents at the Parent Council AGM on Teams. The next meeting of the Parent Council is on 10 May. If you wish to note interest to join the Parent Council, please email Admin@Holyrood.edin.sch.uk
Finally, we hope to organise an informal goodbye for our leavers on Friday 11 June. This will depend on government restrictions, we will be in touch with an update in due course.
We would like to wish everyone a great long weekend ahead. We look forward to seeing all pupils on Wednesday 5 May.
