Dear Parents and Carers
Today we will begin the Easter holiday. We would like to thank everyone who has supported our phased return to school, to you, our families who have worked with us and a huge well done to our pupils who have engaged so well back in school. A personal tribute to our hard working staff.
The latest government update indicates that it is likely that all pupils will return after Easter and we look forward to welcoming pupils back on Tuesday 20 April. If there is any change to this, we will be in contact with you via email. We hope you have an enjoyable school holiday

S4 – 6 Assessments
The S4-6 Assessment Schedule has been emailed to all parents – click on link for full information https://bit.ly/3frrsVC
S4-6 pupils have attended assemblies this week when we were able to share the practicalities and the supports on offer. Teachers have provided very clear and specific advice for pupils to help them prepare for assessments. Information has also been communicated on the class MS Team.
Parent Council AGM
The AGM of the Parent Council will take place on Mon 26 April at 6pm on Teams. If you wish to attend, please email Admin@Holyrood.edin.sch.uk We do hope that some new parents and carers will be able to join us at this time.
Over the school holiday, if your child tests positive for COVID-19, please inform the Council Contact Centre 200- 2000. Pupils have kept a note of close contacts in a booklet provided by school and so in the event of a positive result, they should be able to identify these to Test and Protect.
Please find attached an important letter from the NHS which we have been asked to share with all our families.
S1-6 Lateral Flow Testing
After the school holiday, all pupils from S1-S6 will be offered access to lateral flow testing. As pupils under the age of 16 years old require parental consent, forms have seen sent home with pupils this week. Parents/carers must give consent before kits can be issued.
